ARM will announce its first 64-bit processors later this year for servers and high-end smartphones, and is also taking steps to build up software support for the processor designs, said CEO Warren East earlier this week. The first 64-bit processors will be licensed to device makers and based on the ARMv8 architecture, which was announced in October. The 64-bit processors will be in volume production by 2014, after which it will reach devices, East said.
Introduced back in October last year, ADATA’s Premier memory series has just received the addition of a new set of 8GB memory modules, working at 1600MHz speeds, that are available in both DIMM and SO-DIMM form factors. Compared to standard memory, these new Premier series modules are built only with DRAM chips that go through an extensive burn-in process designed to eliminate the parts that have a tendency to fail.
As we posted earlier, Blizzard has released the information necessary to get the 64-bit client up and running with the live patch 4.3.2 servers. Please remember that this 64-bit client is still in beta, even though you can play the live (non-PTR) game with it. This means that you might experience unexpected crashes and other bugs. Be sure that if you do experience them, you report them right away so Blizzard can fix everything up.
