NoVirusThanks MD5 Checksum Tool is a free and easy to use application designed to allow users to generate the file checksum (MD5/SHA1 hash) of a file or string. It can be very useful to check if an executable file is legit, in other words, if it is the official release from the offical author. The hashing algorithms supported are: MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384 and SHA512.
OpenSaveFilesView is a simple tool that displays the list of files that you previously opened with the standard open/save dialog-box of Windows. For every file in the list, the following information is displayed: Filename, Extension, Order (The order that the files were opened for every file extension), Open Time (Available only for the last opened file of every file type), File Modified/Created Time, File Size, and File Attributes.
BulkFileChanger is a small utility that allows you to create files list from multiple folders, and then make some action on them - Modify their created/modified/accessed time, change their file attribute (Read Only, Hidden, System), run an executable with these files as parameter, and copy/cut paste into Explorer.
Starting from Windows Vista, Microsoft uses symbolic links and junction points of NTFS file system in order to make changes in the folders structure of Windows and keep the compatibility of applications written for older versions of Windows. This utility simply shows you a list of all symbolic links and junctions in the specified folder, and their target paths. It also allows you to save the symbolic links/junctions list into text/html/xml/csv file.
Changing attributes on files and folders in Windows is somewhat troublesome - Attribute Changer will helpfully assist you in this task. Attribute Changer basic features include changing standard attributes (Read-only, Archive, Hidden, System and Index) on files and folders, altering date and time, online help and a seamless integration into the Windows shell acting as a shell extension.
XXCOPY is a boldly extended XCOPY using the same command syntax. It performs file-copy, delete, search and many common file management operations. It can select files and directories by the date, age, and size, as well as the comparison between the source and destination directories. It accepts wildcards in any place and with any number in the source specifier. Its ability to preserve the SFN makes it ideal for volume cloning.
