The next big thing from Apple is really big. The new iPad Pro announced by the Cupertino-based company features a large 12.9-inch Retina display. It's a little bit larger than Samsung's Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 slate, which measures 295.6 x 204 x 8mm and weighs 753g (battery included).
On the other hand, Apple's iPad Pro measures 305.7 x 222.6 x 6.9mm, which makes it slightly thinner than Samsung's tablet, and weighs 712g (battery included).
According to Apple, the iPad Pro tablet is equipped with a powerful 64-bit A9X chipset and 2GB of RAM. The powerful chip is said to offer twice the memory bandwidth of the previous A8X model, which is included in the Apple iPad Air 2.
The same chipset promises twice the flash storage speed, twice the GPU processing power and about 1.8x better overall performance.
