Start64!Corsair, one of the world’s most prominent providers of RAM memory modules for desktop and notebook computers, has announced 8GB and 16GB DDR3 memory upgrade kits for Apple iMacs, MacBook Pros and Mac mini systems.

In a report sent to the media today, Corsair acknowledges that Macs that feature only two memory slots have traditionally been limited to only 8GB of memory. Not anymore, according to the company.

“By increasing the individual module capacity to 8GB, Corsair's latest memory upgrade kits allow Mac owners to upgrade to 10GB, 12GB, or even 16GB of memory.”
